Desk Phone Dock makes your iPhone a deskphone, and deskphones cool again.

Set to be revealed at the China Sourcing Fair next month, the Desk Phone Dock is an iPhone dock, speaker and phone extender. You can run sounds and calls through the standard speaker, or pipe it through a handset. The designers say it will run any iPhone, with or without case. Constructed of aluminium and SF coated plastic, it has some interesting functionality. Unfortunately, only a render now, with no word of price or availability.

Considering how boring most deskphones are, it’s surprising that this design feels fresh and interesting. Well played to Kee Design, for making me want a wired handset for the first time since the mid-90s.
